Consultation
After reaching out to Eli’s Paver Patios, we will schedule an initial consultation to go over design options, assess the project application and take measurements, and discuss any other requirements. At your convenience, one of our team will come to the project address and help determine the best possible solution for your retaining wall.
Step 1Estimate
After the consultation, we will build you a project overview and estimate, and discuss with you options to move forward. We also offer options for financing.
Step 2Design
Upon choosing Eli’s Paver Patios, we will complete any required engineering & drainage plans, and provide a full scope of works for the project, complete with required drawings and specifications.
Step 3Prepare & Install
Retaining wall preparation varies significantly depending on the application.
After measuring, and marking out the project area, typically we begin by removing the top surface of grass, soil and vegetation, and exposing an adequate depth to allow installation of aggregate and a drainage system if required.
Often a geogrid material is used to help reinforce and support the ground against tension applied by the retaining wall over a larger surface area of surrounding soil or ground material.
For larger or load bearing retaining walls, a concrete foundation, cantilever or post/pylon system is often required to ensure structural longevity is maintained per engineering specifications.
The surrounding area should also be compacted adequately.
Once the foundation has been completed, retaining wall installation can commence with your custom design and product of your choice.
Step 4Project Check Ins
During the project, our project supervisor will regularly check in with you & inform you of works to be completed and when, any issues encountered, and updates along the way. We aim for 100% customer satisfaction by delivering superior quality services and communicating with you adequately and efficiently.
Step 5Project Completion
After your custom retaining wall installation is completed, we will clean up the area, reinstall any required soil, turf, or vegetation, and check in with you to ensure we haven't missed anything.
